Shooting a Glacier Point Sunrise Elopement has always been at the top of my list and I think this was one of my all-time favorite shoots ever! If you can picture this being you and your best friend, DO IT!
I could not recommend eloping at Glacier Point anymore. ESPECIALLY if you choose to do it at sunrise! I always tell my couples that if they are getting eloped in Yosemite anywhere such as Glacier Point, Taft Point, the Valley, etc that sunrise is going to be your best bet! This always ensures there will be little to no guests and the sunrise over Glacier Point is perfection. If you look at the photos, you can see that it pops up right over the top of it for sunrise which makes for the dreamiest photos ever! We woke up at 3:00 AM for this day but it was TOTALLY worth it as you can tell. We had nobody around us and it was as peaceful as it gets.
The great thing about eloping in Yosemite also is that there are plenty of mountain towns in the area to stay at including the Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite! It’s one of the most beautiful hotels and is a short drive from anywhere inside the park. If you choose to stay somewhere else, Airbnb is another great option with plenty just around the park entrance! This also provides a great place to get ready in the morning with your soon-to-be husband 🙂
